Finally took some personal play time and installed the upgrade to my blog engine app. The upgrade went surprisingly smooth. I expected it to blow up the blog, blow up my www.AbleMods.com site or blow up both.
In reality the only error I ever got was the missing theme files. I had forgotten to copy over the custom theme I was using from the previous install. Aside from that one minor issue, I can honestly say the upgrade process was smooth and painless.
I think I like the new version. The admin side/dashboard is vastly improved. I think it'll be a good improvement over the v 1.6 I've been running for so long.
